Find out where AI
actually pays off.
A productised 2–3 week assessment. Fixed price. Practical roadmap. No commitment to build with us afterwards.
Clarity before commitment.
Before you spend a dollar on build, you need to know which workflows are genuinely worth automating and what the return looks like. The AI Readiness Assessment does exactly that: we spend two to three weeks with your team, map what's actually happening, score the opportunities by effort and impact, and hand you a concrete roadmap — yours to act on however you choose.
What's included
Every assessment produces the same core set of outputs. Larger engagements may include an optional pilot scope document.
Workflow discovery and mapping
We interview team leads and document the people, processes, and tools behind your day-to-day operations. Current state, not the idealised version.
Opportunity shortlist with effort × impact scoring
We rank every identified opportunity by how much effort it takes to automate and how much it's worth. You see where the quick wins are and where the bigger plays sit.
Build vs. buy vs. configure — per opportunity
For each shortlisted item, we tell you whether you should build something custom, buy an off-the-shelf tool, or configure software you already own.
12-month phased roadmap with ROI estimates
A sequenced plan covering what to tackle first, second, and later — with rough cost and return estimates so you can make the business case internally.
Tool selection guidance and risk register
Recommended tools and platforms for each opportunity, plus a plain-language risk register covering data, compliance, and operational concerns.
Optional: pilot scope document
If you'd like to move straight to a pilot, we can include a scoped brief for one of the top-ranked opportunities — enough detail to kick off work immediately.
How it works
Four stages over two to three weeks, with minimal time required from your team.
Discovery
Structured interviews with team leads. Current-state workflow mapping. Tooling audit. We're looking for where time goes, not just what's on the org chart.
Analysis
Opportunity scoring by effort and impact. Build vs. buy vs. configure decisions. ROI modelling based on your actual team capacity and costs.
Roadmap delivery
Your 12-month plan delivered as a slide deck and a written document. We walk you through it in a live session and answer questions.
Pilot kick-off
If you'd like to pilot one of the top opportunities with us, we scope and price it. No pressure — the roadmap is yours regardless of what you decide.
Who this is for
Teams drowning in manual work
You have good people spending hours on repetitive tasks that should be handled by a system. You need to know which ones to fix first and how.
Leaders who want a clear-eyed view
You suspect AI could help your organisation but you're not going to run a speculative build without understanding the actual ROI. That's the right instinct.
Businesses past first experiments
You've piloted something — a chatbot, a tool, a quick integration — and you now want to know what the actual roadmap looks like, not more ad-hoc experiments.
What it costs
Fixed price depending on scope
Larger organisations or multi-team assessments may scope higher. We will quote upfront before any work begins.
What you walk away with
Every automation opportunity ranked by effort and impact, with a clear recommendation on how to approach each one.
A phased plan you can take to your board or use as a procurement brief. Delivered as a slide deck and a written document.
Specific tool recommendations for each opportunity, including what you already own that can be configured rather than replaced.
Common questions
-
No. The roadmap and all outputs belong to you regardless of what you decide to do next. You can take them to another vendor, build internally, or put them on the shelf. Most clients do choose to pilot with us, but that's because the assessment has done the hard work of scoping and de-risking it — not because there's any obligation.
-
That's actually who this is designed for. You don't need to understand AI systems or software development. We translate everything into business terms — cost, time, risk, and return. The interviews are with the people who do the work, not just the technology team.
-
Around 4–6 hours in total across the two weeks, spread across two to four people depending on your organisation. Typically this is two or three 60-minute interviews and a final walk-through session. We work around your schedule.
-
We'll tell you. Sometimes the right answer is a better process, an off-the-shelf SaaS tool, or simply a cleaner integration between existing systems. If AI isn't the right fit for a given problem, we won't recommend it. The assessment is for clarity, not to justify a predetermined conclusion.
-
Discovery notes and documents are held under a mutual NDA. Nothing leaves your systems without your explicit consent. We're happy to sign your NDA or provide ours before the first conversation.

Usually within two weeks of scoping and signing off. Availability is limited — we run a small number of assessments at a time to keep quality high. Check the availability indicator at the top of this page, or reach out to confirm current timing.
